This picture was taken at 10,500' heading south past Chicago on my way home to Atlanta. A line of thunderstorms in Tennessee prevented a direct route home. Information from Flight Watch suggested that a dogleg route through western Tennessee might be my best bet. As it turned out, that was indeed the case. The total route distance was about 690 nm which took a little under four hours. The average ground speed at cruising altitude was about 186 kt.
It was quite a task putting this scrapbook together. I hope you have enjoyed it. Send me an email if you are so inclined. I enjoy hearing from people all over the world. Good-bye for now!
