Well, it is Thursday morning and my bones are sore. Nonetheless, the sun is shining and the crowds have yet to arrive which affords a perfect opportunity to take some great pictures. Check out the mirror-like reflection in Kent and Sandy Blankenburg's beautiful Lockheed Electra 12A. Although I have purposely avoided taking pictures of the same planes as last year, I couldn't resist this one.
Of the 92 Lockheed Electra 12A's manufactured from 1936 to 1941, only a half dozen or so remain today and only three are in flying condition. Here is a great article by Kent Blankenburg about his Lockheed 12A.
