Well, I finally made it to the warbird area. This is a Lockheed T-33A trainer. The T-33A is essentially an F-80 "Shooting Star" with a lengthened fuselage to fit a second seat in tandem. The F-80 reached operational status in 1945 and the T-33 prototype first flew three years later in 1948. The T-33 served with more than 30 air forces. Over 5,600 were built by Lockheed and over 800 by Kawasaki and Canadair. Later, you'll see a picture of this plane flying during one of its demonstration flights.
