Fred said that one of the things that makes a good flight line volunteer is being able to anticipate. The volunteer in this picture noticed a gaggle of Yaks landing on 36 and knew from experience that they would want to land long and come through heading north. He and his partner on the other side of the runway quickly snatched up the cones and waved the Yaks through. The Yaks didn't have to stop.
