This is a 1947 Cessna 120. Do you recall the C-140A pictured a few days ago and how I contrasted it with a C-140? Well, now I'm going to discuss the similarities and differences between the the C-120 and the C-140. They were basically the same airplane as originally produced with just a few differences.
The C-120 didn't have a rear quarter window but the C-140 did. You will notice that this C-120 does have rear quarter windows, a common post-production enhancement. The C-120 was produced without an electrical system while the C-140 was produced with one. The C-120 didn't have flaps but the C-140 did. Common to both models were the C-85 engine, fabric covered aluminum wing, and two steel wing struts per side.
