This is a North American F-86F Sabre. Designed in 1944 and refined in several prototypes, the Sabre entered USAF service in 1949. The F-86 saw extensive action in the Korean war where Sabre pilots racked up an impressive aggregate victory ratio of 10 to 1 over the MiG-15. This F-86F is painted in the markings of the F-86F that John Glenn flew in the Korean war.
